I'm a product executive and advisor to founder-led and PE-backed B2B SaaS companies, brought in when growth has outpaced the product org.

For twenty years I've been the person companies call when the product has to grow up faster than the company planned for, often in regulated industries where there's little room for error. I've brought acquired products onto one platform across four industries, including at Galvanize, where the integration I led became central to Diligent's $1B acquisition. Products I've led have won Best in KLAS and other industry awards.

The pattern I see everywhere is a growth plan that quietly depends on the product, and a product nobody has checked against the plan. That gap is the work I do.

I've owned the P&L for product portfolios and coached more than a hundred product managers, product marketers and designers, from directors to associates. I've worked inside founder-led and PE-backed companies alike, including two preparing for an IPO.

I write weekly on LinkedIn about building product orgs and portfolios. Last year it reached nearly 350,000 people and drew a million views, and it's where many of my conversations with founders and funds begin.

The practice

How I work

I run a senior advisory practice for founders and funds whose plans depend on the product.
Every engagement runs on the same four commitments.

  1. 01

    Senior from start to finish

I lead every engagement myself, from the first conversation to the handover. Anyone from my bench is named in the scope before we begin.

  2. 02

    Evidence before opinion

I start with the map: how your product models the business, tested against your plan. You see what holds before anything changes.

  3. 03

A call you can act on

You get a clear recommendation with the reasoning behind it, and I own it alongside your team, so your board can follow every step.

  4. 04

    Built to run without me

Success is a product org that runs well after I leave, with the right permanent leader in the seat.
